Cookie Policy

The short version. This site does not set any cookies. It keeps two small items in your browser's local storage, both of them needed for the site to work, and neither leaves your device.
No analytics or advertising is loaded on this site.
1. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store and then sends back to the server with every subsequent request. Local storage is a similar store, except the contents stay on your device — the browser never transmits them anywhere.
This site uses local storage only. It sets no cookies of its own, and the two items below are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Necessary items like these do not require consent, because the site cannot do what you asked of it without them. Declining the banner does not remove them — declining is itself recorded in the first one.
3. Requests to other servers
Loading this page also fetches a few files from other providers. None of them set a cookie, but each one necessarily sees your IP address, as any server does when your browser asks it for a file.

One further provider is worth naming because it is wired into the page but
switched off: Cloudflare Turnstile
(challenges.cloudflare.com), an anti-spam challenge. It is not
currently enabled and nothing is loaded from Cloudflare. If we turn it on it
will set a cookie of its own, and this policy will be updated to say so before
that happens.
4. Analytics and marketing
The consent banner offers toggles for Analytics and Marketing. Nothing is currently loaded in either category. No measurement tool, no advertising tag, no remarketing pixel. The toggles exist so that your choice is already on record if we add page-view counting later — and if we do, the specific tool will be named in this policy first, and will only load for visitors who have allowed that category.
5. Managing your choice
- Change your mind at any time using the Manage Consent link at the bottom of every page.
- Clear everything through your browser's settings for this site — in Chrome, Edge and Firefox this is under Privacy and security → Cookies and site data. Note that clearing it also erases the record of your consent choice, so the banner will appear again.
- Block storage entirely in your browser settings. The site still works; it will simply ask about cookies on every visit, and the form rate limit will not carry between pages.
6. Your rights
Nothing described on this page leaves your device, so there is no personal data here for us to give you a copy of or delete. For information you have sent us through a form, and for the rights that apply to it, see our Privacy Statement.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy is updated whenever the site's storage or third-party requests change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
